Hi! I’m Stacey, the one and only face behind Rose & Purl.
I’m a mama of two girls, a lifelong west coast resident, a lover of speckled yarns, vanilla cake, and a good cup of coffee (or tea).
Rose&Purl is located on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada.
I believe in minimal packaging, and where it’s needed, eco-friendly and recycled products. EcoEnclose is the main supplier we use for our packaging needs, and if your local recycling center doesn’t take soft plastic, you can send it back to EcoEnclose for them to recycle on your behalf. Click here to read more about how you can do that.
The idea behind our online yarn store is to be a one-stop-shop where you can find everything from larger yarn companies that align with our brand, to hand-dyed indie yarn, and everything in between that you’ll need to use for your knitting or crochet project.
Supporting other indie dyers is something that I’m so passionate about. I love connecting with them and being able to bring their yarn dreams into our little slice of the internet.
Everyone has a space here at Rose&Purl, regardless of race, education, religion, sexuality, or orientation. This goes for all of our social media accounts as well. There is no tolerance for anything other than acceptance.
If you have something you’d like to see in the shop feel free to contact me and let me know! On the same note, if you supply items that you think fits with our brand please send me a note and I’d love to chat 🙂
